About Tot Wraps!
Information from website.
Hello, and welcome to Tot Wraps™. My name is Krysta and I am the owner of Tot Wraps™ and the designer of all the Tot Wraps™ products. I love creating and designing diapers. I made so many diapers for my own children that I gave away two stashes worth and I still have way too many diapers. So I figured I better start selling these if I am going to keep making them. I wanted to provide the best diaper to my customers, in terms of fit and ease of use. After many, many hours of pattern drafting and sample making, I stumbled upon Little Comet Tails patterns and decided to get licensed to sew and sell from this great pattern line.
Soon I was itching to create my own designs again and this time the pattern just seemed to draw itself. With a few frustrations along the way, most things just seemed to fall into place, and the Dream Diaper™ was launched. The Dream Diaper™ is the easiest way to cloth diaper without breaking the bank.
After the Dream Diaper™, came the Dream Cover™, Dream Trainer™, and the Transitions Trainer™. Tot Wraps™ now offers a complete line of original products to cover your child's bottom from birth through potty learning easily.
When Tot Wraps™ started, I handled all aspects of the business and sewed everything myself. With the popularity and growth of Tot Wraps™ products some help has been enlisted. Several work-at-home women help out with various aspects, from computer work to sewing. I still do quite a bit of the sewing, and sew at least part of every product sold.

I am a married, homeschooling, cloth diapering, work-at-home Mom to five children. My youngest child, a girl, was born October 2009. The oldest, another girl, was born May 2000. There are three boys in between those girls. Sewing and design has always been a part of my life. My first design, that I remember anyway, were dolls I made as Christmas presents when I was almost 6 years old. They looked just like any other stuffed doll, only small, and not sewn the neatest. They had hair, facial features, and clothing. I will have to post a picture of the one I inherited back from my Nanny (Grandma).
When my first child was born I had her in cloth diapers that I made and loved them, but when she outgrew them I succumbed to the lure of the "easy" disposable. Took me three more children to come to my senses and back to cloth diapering. At the time I still had two in diapers, so my second child is the only one who never wore cloth. At first I went back to cloth for the savings. Now the aesthetics, comfort, ease, and lack of leaks keeps me using cloth no matter the price. I get such satisfaction from making, washing, and putting my children in cloth diapers that I had to spread the word. I personally use and test every diaper and trainer I sell.
So, why Tot Wraps™ for a name? That is my Uncle's doing. He is one of those dry humor comedians and when I was brainstorming for a name he came up with Tot Under Wraps. I wanted a more "generic" name, so I shortened it. I figure as long as it is something soft and comforting that wraps around a child or that a child can wrap their arms around, then it is a Tot Wrap™.
About the Dream Diaper™, One-Size, Hybird All-in-One Diaper!
When I had my first child back in year 2000, I had a vision of my “dream diaper” in my head. I wanted an all-in-one style diaper that would fit all sizes, but what was available then—and even now—never fit my idea of the perfect diaper. Everything I saw had either complicated snap systems, bulky fold-overs, long drier times, were not all-in-ones, would really only fit an older medium-sized child, or had a pocket that always had to be stuffed. So, after a gentle prodding from my local store, I decided I should design my own perfect diaper.
After several months of pattern drafting and testing, the Dream Diaper™ was launched. Over the following year, the diaper went through several modifications based on customer feedback. It is now what I consider—and what I hope you consider—the perfect Dream Diaper™.
After several months of pattern drafting and testing, the Dream Diaper™ was launched. Over the following year, the diaper went through several modifications based on customer feedback. It is now what I consider—and what I hope you consider—the perfect Dream Diaper™.
Features of the Tot Wraps Dream Diaper™, one-size, hybird all-in-one include:
A wide fit-range in a single diaper—trim enough to not be bulky on a 8 lb newborn, yet large enough to fully cover a 35+ lb toddler. There’s no need to invest in multiple sizes of diapers, saving you both time and money.- Two rows of closure snaps for optimum leg and waist adjustment. To obtain a perfect fit, simply snap the closure tab in the leg row (bottom row) of snaps where the leg fits comfortably. Then snap the tab into the waist row of snaps where the waist fits comfortably. It doesn't matter if the same snap placement is used for both the leg and waist.
- Easy pull, stretch tabs have plenty of grabbing area and a gentle stretch. Making changes easy, and wearing comfortable.
- No complicated folds, flaps, snaps, or attachment parts. With only one pair of rise-adjustment snaps this diaper is easy for anyone to use. Long-lasting, easy to use snap closures mean no hook ’n’ loop diaper chains and the closures will last the life of the diaper.
- Gentle clear elastic around leg and waist openings plus the lack of top-stitching allows the diaper to comfortably and gently stretch to fit almost all diaper-wearing children and eliminate red marks.
- A colorful, waterproof polyester PUL outer that rolls in on the legs and completely edges the inner diaper for a leak-proof, one-piece diaper.
- A soft, absorbent inner and Zorb™ soaker holds up to 11 oz. of liquid, handling even the average toddler-sized mess without adding any doublers or inserts. The comfy cotton velour is drier to the touch than other absorbent fabrics yet still stays moist enough to let children know they are wet to aid in potty training. Some styles offer organic viscose of bamboo velour or stay-dray microfleece inners as an option. Maximum absorbency won't be reached until diaper is washed at least 5 times.
- Large interior pocket opening allows you to easily increase absorbency for naps, trips, heavy-wetters, or overnight use. Insert will agitate out in the wash, so there is no need to un-stuff before washing. The pocket opening also ensures thorough cleaning and shortens drier time to about an hour.
- Hourglass-shaped Dream Diaper™ Inserts are optional since you won’t need them for normal use. Folding on stitched fold line allows insert to fit smaller rise settings. These can be inserted with the larger end toward the front for boys, or toward the back for girls. For nights instead of stuffing the pocket, try laying the insert in the diaper white side up. The stay-dry fabric on the white side will wick moisture away from your child's bottom, keeping them dry and comfortable all night long.
- Thinner than a wet disposable so it fits well under any clothing, even jeans and Onsies.
Our Dream Diaper Experience!
It has truly been a pleasure to work with Krysta at Tot Wraps. She has much knowledge and experience with cloth diapers that she has created some great products. Then top it off with great customer service and I have really enjoyed working with this awesome WAHM cloth diaper maker!
Krysta sent me two diapers for review, her old version and her new version of the Dream Diaper, one size, hybrid all in one. I have only used one brand of AIO's before and I did not like them. I admit I was a little leery trying out another AIO diaper because of my negative experience. I had pretty much decided not to try any more AIO cloth diapers. I was pleasantly surprised that the Dream Diaper, one size, hybrid all in one was completely different than the AIO's I had tried before and had a totally positive experience with them!
The image shown in the Dream Diaper, one size hybrid all in one is for the new version of the diaper. I do want to show you a little about the original version because it does function very well. Plus Krysta is clearing these diapers out for the new version she is making. The largest difference in the older version is that there are one row of snaps and the snapping tabs are different. You can see this in my comparison photo. Also the newer version of the Dream Diaper, one size hybrid all in one is a slightly larger diaper overall than the older version.
I first received the older version of the Dream Diaper and instantly liked it because I knew it would fit Ethan well (it's nice when you just know by looking at a diaper if it will work for your child!). The diaper features elastic around the top and also in the back. This gets a nice snug fit all around the waist. We've had leak issues with some diapers because there is no elastic in these areas and Ethan's pants like to roll down into the diaper especially at night.
The inner layer is super soft and the best quality of fabric I have seen in any other brand of diaper I've used. I know this fabric will never pill up. The soaker that is sewn into the diaper is just the right thickness. The previous AIO's I have used the soakers were way too thick and they diapers never got really clean. The soaker sewn into the Dream Diaper is very absorbent, but not so thick that the diaper can't get completely clean in the wash. The pocket opening in the back of the diaper allows you to add another insert. Even though Ethan is usually a heavy wetter, I only add the extra soaker if the diaper is being used at nighttime. This AIO also dries very quick! No more extra drying time just for your AIO diapers.
The Dream Diaper one size, hybrid all in one fits like a bikini cut which is wonderful for older babies that are mobile. A bikini cut keeps the bulk away from the waist so they are comfortable and can move freely. Ethan has worn both version of the diaper several times now and I really like both. We have not had any leak issues whatsoever. Although, I really do like the changes Krysta has incorporated with the new version. The two rows of snaps make it a more secure and slide free fit for active babies. The stretch tabs are a great addition as well.
Overall, I am extremely impressed with the Dream Diaper one size, hybrid all in one by Tot Wraps. Superb quality of materials and professional construction with the courteous customer service to boot!
- Great quality of inner layer material that is velvety soft!
- Front and back elastics that make a tight fit with no gaps.
- An AIO that you really don't need to add another insert to.
- A FAST drying AIO.
- Two row snaps prevent any wing drooping.
