Bella Materna Guest Reviewer & Extra Entry Opportunity

I just received an email from a Take Time to Smell the Rose reader about how much she loves Bella Materna products! Since she doesn't have a blog I have her permission to share her experience of wearing various Bella Materna pieces. Everyone who comments something specifically about her post will get an extra 3 entries! Leave your comment on this post then head over to the giveaway and leave a comment for each extra entry such as, "Guest Reviewer Extra Entry #1" etc.

OK, to say that I am obsessed with Bella Materna products is a bit of an understatement - I'M OBSESSED!  I have so many items, I'm nearly ashamed to admit how many.  But that's also an indicator of how different and fabulous their clothing is.  Which is why I asked Chari if I could take this chance to tell you all about how truly wonderful their stuff is, and to encourage you to TRY IT!  Yes, I KNOW it is expensive, that is exactly what I thought when I first ran across their stuff.  But if you can afford a little extra up front, I promise these will quickly become your favorites for not only while you are nursing, but well past that time, which is exactly why they end up being some of the most cost-effective things you will buy during this time.  Why?  Let me tell you the things that make Bella Materna bras and camis must-have's!! (PS I am NOT in any way affiliated with, compensated by, or otherwise attached to Bella Materna!)

1) Wash and wear-ability: If you're like me, you probably bought 2-3 nursing camis for when you first came home with the baby, because you didn't want to have to do laundry every day.  All of Bella Materna's items wash up in the sink, and dry under a ceiling fan within the hour.  It takes about one minute of your time. This is the cost-effectiveness I was talking about. You don't NEED 2-3 camis(mine cost about $65 total after tax.... hmmm, now that $76 cami doesn't look so bad, especially if you bought 2 things to get 20% off, in which case now it's about $60) AND you will LOVE wearing the Bella Materna cami.  It's so beautiful, doesn't show stains and leaks(unless  you get the nude color), and you can wear it once you're done nursing by just putting your regular bra underneath.  They last forever too!  You can wear this to bed until your baby goes to Jr High - seriously!

2) Support: All of their bras and camis support your delicate breast tissue as well as a regular bra.  I have the French Lace Bralet, and I am a D cup right now, and I can wear it walking with the stroller and have excellent support!  Not only is it gorgeous, it has been washed and worn about 5 days/week for the last 8 months and it still looks like new.  And when I shrink it a bit in the dryer, I will be able to wear it when I go back to my previous B cup!  I also have a lightly padded bra for work.  The flexi wires don't even feel like underwires - in fact, I bought this bra for my 62 year old mom because she has never been able to wear regular underwires due to discomfort.  She LOVES this bra, it's her favorite and she wants more for her birthday!  I plan to wear this bra even after I am done nursing, I'll just go back to my regular size.  It's durable, the cup doesn't crease, and the support is amazing.

3)The Fabric: Ladies, this is the most delicious and wonderful lycra you will ever experience.  I call it the magical Italian fabric.  Bella Materna uses it for all their products, and it's part of what makes their products expensive.  But one feel of this, and you will know why.  The fabric feels so wonderful on your skin while it supports you, but stretches comfortably to accommodate your breasts as they change size during the day and along your nursing journey. Then it bounces right back!  You will actually look forward to wearing your nursing cami!  And if you are like me, you end up in it half the day! But that's OK, since it's so beautiful and feels so nice, you won't look frumpy and any surprise visitors won't even know you wore it all night!

So there you have it - my reasons and explanations for why I have spent so much of my "gift money" on my drawer full of Bella Materna items!  I'm wearing a cami right now as I type this, just like I have worn one every night since I bought my first one!  Even my not-pregnant-anymore friends have ended up buying camis for bedtime and to wear under their work clothes.  Decide to pamper yourself and your hard-working breasts a little,  and try something.   You will NOT be disappointed and no more will you end up wasting money on nursing bras that disappoint!

Wow! What a positive review. I love hearing from people who have tried a clothing line and can speak for how well they wear, wash and look!

It's good to know that these products can be worn post-nursing. And the way she describes the lycra cami makes me want to buy one right now..."magical Italian fabric."

OK, so maybe the expense is worth it! I think I am going to try to find a friend to go in on a purchase and get that 20% off! I'm not usually a camisole person, but maybe wearing one to bed now that my husband and I are no longer "alone" in the house is not such a bad idea!

This is such a great review! I love how you call it magical fabric! I want to feel that against my skin too :)

And it seriously dries in one hour? SIGN ME UP! I don't have a lot of time for waiting around for my handwashables to dry and this is just exciting to me :)
