FairHaven Health Tea for Two Pregnancy Tea Review & Giveaway

~~~THIS GIVEAWAY HAS ENDED~~~
It seems like every pregnant woman gets tired of drinking just water and wonders "what else can I drink"? Studies show that very little caffeine should be consumed during pregnancy and usually that means we are left with few choices. Artificial sweeteners shouldn't be consumed either and if we are also trying to watch our weight gain, then we are very limited to the amount of 100% fruit juices and other beverages we can drink. Sometimes herbal teas are over looked. Herbal teas not only have a wide range of flavors, but some can be very beneficial to drink during pregnancy and help prepare the body for birth. Be aware that the herbs in teas have been heavily treated with pesticides, unless they are organically grown. I have done some research and came across a wonderful organic pregnancy tea, Tea-for-Two from Fairhaven Health.
About Fairhaven Health!
Information from website.
Having a baby is among the most miraculous moments in life. And when it comes to preconception and pregnancy, Fairhaven Health is with you every step of the way - offering a tradition of unsurpassed product quality, service, and a compassion for each customer's unique journey to parenthood.
In the U.S., there are more than 11 million couples trying to conceive at any given time. Of those couples, many will face fertility obstacles or frustrating delays, and 1 in 5 will encounter some formal difficulty in becoming pregnant. Even young couples in the best of health have only a 15% to 20% chance of conceiving each menstrual cycle. And with couples trying to conceive later in life, the likelihood of fertility issues presenting themselves may increase over time as we age.
Our mission at Fairhaven Health is to help those couples who may be struggling with their conception efforts. And for years now, we've been achieving that important goal. From preconception through pregnancy and nursing, Fairhaven Health is there - every step of the way - to provide clinically-proven products designed to safely and naturally promote fertility and pregnancy wellness. As a trusted leader in the field of reproductive health, our fertility solutions are cooperatively developed and formulated by a diverse panel of medical experts - including doctors, ObGyns, nutritionists, and naturopaths. Noted fertility expert, Amos Grunebaum, MD, plays a pivotal role in formulating our FertilAid, FertileCM, FertiliTea, and Pregnancy Plus product lines.
Most importantly, Fairhaven Health cares about product efficacy and quality. That's another way of saying we care about our customers and their special journeys. We integrate the best of both worlds, bringing together traditional Western (allopathic) medicine with clinically-supported research in herbal/homeopathic fields. All of our supplement products are based on clinically-established science and all manufacture is governed by strict GMP standards and third-party quality testing. Significantly, products like FertilAid for Men have undergone their own double-blind placebo-controlled studies - with remarkable, research-advancing results in improving key male fertility parameters like sperm count and motility.
Our product lines follow the natural progression from preconception to pregnancy to nursing. Our preconception products focus on fertility awareness and ovulation prediction, helping couples learn about their fertility and anticipate when they are most likely to conceive. Nutritional fertility supplements like FertilAid & FertileCM provide balance and support enhanced fertility for both women and men. Once couples receive the good news, products like Pregnancy Plus Prenatal and Pregnancy Plus Omega3 promote the prenatal health of a developing baby and help ensure pregnancy wellness for the mother - from the first days of pregnancy through the first years of nursing.
Located in the historic district of Bellingham, Washington, Fairhaven Health unites integrity and quality with sensible pricing - offering an unparalleled tradition of value and success to both our customers and our distributors. Our distribution partners comprise a reputable circle of health product retailers and fertility solution providers, including drugstore.com, BabyCenter, CVS.com, Village Pharmacy and Early-Pregnancy-Tests.com. We also welcome small specialty retailers as well as established medical partners - from the smallest pregnancy boutiques to major fertility clinics and education centers.
My Tea-for-Two Experience!
When I was pregnant with Ethan I was very picky about the water that I drank. The so called filtered water at work no longer tasted like filter water, but tap water to me! I carried my own water bottles to work everyday. I would go through 5 to 7 20 oz bottles of water a day. I quickly became tired of drinking just water and wanted something more. I had drank herbal teas off and on before I was pregnant, but quickly became addicted to herbal teas during Ethan's pregnancy. I easily drank 2 cups a day. I'm sad to say that I didn't do much research about herbal teas at that time and didn't drink a pregnancy tea and it also was not organic.
Being pregnant a second time around I don't feel like I have the same distaste for water, but I find myself really pushing myself to drink enough each day. As soon as I found out I was pregnant I picked up a box of organic pregnancy tea at the health food store. It was a good blend, but it was very expensive. I began doing some research online to find other brands of organic pregnancy teas and came across the Fairhaven Health website. I noticed they were the makers of FertilAid which I have read many great reviews about on message boards so I knew that their pregnancy tea would be a great quality.
Fairhaven Health sent me a bag of the Tea-For-Two pregnancy tea. It is an all natural loose herbal tea that is organic and caffeine free.
The ingredients:
Strawberry leaf – nourishes and tones the uterus and provides key vitamins, minerals, and alkaloids that promote a healthful pregnancy.
Alfalfa – high in nutritive vitamins and minerals, including Vitamin K. which is critical to a healthy pregnancy.
Dandelion leaf - helps to eliminate excess water from the system to ease fluid retention; provides; excellent source of potassium, calcium and iron.
Oatstraw – calms the nervous system to alleviate stress and tension.
Ginger root – assuages nausea and eases morning sickness symptoms.
Lemon verbena – provides refreshing, zesty flavor.
As you can see this is a wonderful blend of herbs for pregnancy. It takes just 1 teaspoon to make one cup of tea. You seep it in a metal tea ball for just 5 minutes and it's done! I found the Tea-for-Two pregnancy tea to have a very light flavor. It is a much smoother flavor than other pregnancy teas I have tried. I think that most women could drink this unsweetened, but if you want you could add a touch of honey to it to sweeten it. I do not like sweet tea so I think it's perfect. I know the description states it has a lemon flavor, but if you don't like lemon, don't let that scare you away. The lemon flavor is really light, in fact I don't really notice it myself. I have been very pleased with this blend of pregnancy tea and I know that drinking it regularly will encourage my body to continue to have a healthy pregnancy. I also want to point out that at $14.95 a bag for a one month supply (considering you drink 2 to 3 cups a day) is a great buy for organic tea!
Buy It! You can purchase the Tea-for-Two pregnancy tea directly at Fairhaven Health.
