My name is Heather and I work full time from home with my husband Shannon.  We live in Oregon with our daughter, Camille.  When she was a newborn, she had a persistant rash.  Curing the rash led us to cloth diapering which in turn led to us sewing Knickernappies.  We're proud to say that all of our products are made in the USA. 

Who Sews My Diapers?
I don't actually do much sewing anymore.  Thankfully my business has grown a lot and I've been able to find some wonderful people to help me.  All cutting and sewing are done in Oregon by people that I personally know and love.

All custom diapers are sewn by Caye.  Here's what she says about herself: "I come from a family of artists from the South (Arkansas and Kansas).  I was an art major in college and got a job at a plant nursery to pay my way through school.  Twelve years later I am still working in the horticultural field while doing my art as a hobby and occasional part-time job.  My husband is a writer from Connecticut and we met here in Oregon in 2001, fell in love, and were married in 2004."  They had their first child in July 2007.  Caye is now a work-at-home mom, sewing custom diapers for Knickernappies as well as many of her own creations.  Buy customs and see her work at www.hyenacart.com/knickernappies.  I'm proud to support her so she can do what I do...stay home with our babies!

All instock diapers and accessories are sewn by a dear couple here in Oregon.  They met and married while working together for another production sewing company.  When that company outsourced to Mexico, they bought some equipment and started their own company. They are a delightful couple with a wonderful, highly paid staff that I'm thrilled to work with. 

About the Knickernappies One Size Diaper!

The Knickernappies One Size diaper is a side snapping diaper that fits from 8 lbs to 40 lbs. There are four rows of snaps in the front of the diaper that you snap down to adjust to a smaller setting.

Our Knickernappies Experience!
I bought several Knickernappies inserts about a year ago and I absolutely love them. The inserts have worn well and really absorb great. I was happy to get a chance to try out their side snapping diapers. Knickernappies sent me their one size diaper in the beautiful turquoise color. This was my first experience using any side snapping diaper. I admit it took me a few times of putting the diaper on Ethan to get it on straight when I first snap it on. I was able to get a nice snug fit around his skinny thighs with the side snap. I was pleasantly surprised with the side snap I also didn't experience any wing droop either. We've used the Knickernappies One Size diaper several times now and have not experienced any leaking. The quality of the material and the workmanship of the Knickernappies One Size is truly great!

Our Favorite Features of the Knickernappies One Size Diaper!

• The larger size of the diaper. My pictures show Ethan on the largest setting, but really I could put it on the next smallest setting. He has a lot of growing room left in the rise and in the waist.
• The side snapping makes no bulk in the front by the belly where front snapping diapers are usually bulky.
• The side snapping also kept from any wing drooping.
• They are made in the USA!
